What we do

  • 3D laser scanning of interiors and exteriors
  • Measured drawings: plans, sections and elevations
  • Research and design documentation for restoration and conservation
  • Photo documentation
  • An online 3D model that researchers and supervisors can open in a browser

Why laser scanning

  • The scanner never touches the object, which matters for fragile surfaces and wall paintings
  • Any section or elevation can be produced from one survey, without returning to site
  • The point cloud is an exact record of the monument on a given date, useful for later comparison
  • Deformations, cracks and deviations that are hard to see by eye become visible

Frequently asked questions

What heritage experience do you have?

We have been scanning monuments for more than five years. This includes Manglisi Sioni, where besides scanning we prepared research and design documentation and architectural measured drawings.

Is scanning safe for wall paintings?

Yes. The scanner does not touch the object and uses a low-power Class 1 laser.

Can I share the results online?

Yes. We publish the point cloud in an online 3D viewer that opens from a link, with no software to install.
