We produce measured drawings of existing buildings from laser-scan data (Scan to CAD). The drawings show the real dimensions, including out-of-square corners and leaning walls that hand surveys often miss.
We confirm which plans, sections and elevations you need and at what scale.
We survey the building with a FARO scanner and prepare a point cloud.
Drawings are drafted in AutoCAD on top of the point cloud, so every dimension comes from the real geometry.
You receive DWG and PDF files, and the point cloud if you need it.
A hand survey takes a few measurements and assumes the rest. Laser scanning records the whole building as millions of points, so the drawings follow the real geometry and any dimension can be checked later from the point cloud.
AutoCAD DWG and PDF.
Yes, a Revit BIM model can be built from the same scan. See Scan to BIM.
